There are tag teams who I don’t need to see have a singles match. Woods vs Kofi is a match I really don’t need to see, despite being a fan of both guys. They’ve really been stale since E got injured and this is the shot in the arm they need. I can see an E return at the rumble, and when it does happen you can bet it will blow the roof off.

Kofimania we lightning in a bottle stuff that only a ten year vet could achieve, and I can’t see Woods winning a world title, but E has main event potential.
They fumbled Es initial title run IMO. A shift away from the goodwill, PoP stuff could give him a decent face run while Kofi/Woods get a revitalised tag team character. Good decisions all round.

Fox no longer have the rights to show the wrestling anymore, it will be shown on Netflix.

I wonder whether NETFLIX will make a attempt to buy the rights to Rugby league, That will defibately give the NRL a bigger subscription world market.

They killed the Rocks character making hug crybaby Rhodes (stardust)
I don’t think he was playing the ‘character’ tonight… he was wearing the hat of the member of the board and biggest star in the company trying to welcome the large amount of viewers unfamiliar with the product tuning in for the first time.

I get the feeling he may switch back into the final boss once it gets to WM season.

I’m pretty sure most people are grown up enough now to figure out he’s playing a character… I think he’s just being a bit more obvious with it now.. lol

He's promoting Moana, so maybe he didn't want to be a bad guy with that, but he kind of contradicted that thought on NXT.

This was essentially an advertisement. There are millions of wrestling fans who dropped off over the past 20-30 years. This episode would have had many curiously checking it out again. Having HHH, Rock, Hogan, Undertaker & Cena appearing was a way to have these people see some familiar faces and entice them to hang around. Rock will be back to his Final Boss persona before you know it.
