So just to give a bit of background, to those who are unaware, WCW was bought out by WWF in March 2001 a few months down the track, this created the Invasion angle in WWE where they only really brought in very few stars from WCW and turned a lot of WWF stars heel to join the alliance (e.g. Stone Cold Steve Austin). However, even though Mis said he wouldn't be doing it, I think we shouldn't discount the fact that WWE stars that turned in the real life storyline could turn here.
Here was WCW' Roster at the time of the companies collapse:
3 Count- Consisted of Shane Helms (who became Hurricane Helms in WWF) and Shannon Moore, both were part of the Alliance. The group also contained Evan Karaigas but he never came to WWE from memory. I would say Karaigas and Moore are highly unlikely to appear in the game, with Huricane being a strong chance.
The Artist- A nobody in WCW and wasn't signed for the Alliance angle.
AWOL- Very unlikely to appear as he wasn't that big and wasn't signed as part of the alliance angle.
Berlyn = Very unlikely. was shit and wasn't in the alliance.
Big Vito- unlikely, lower card guy, wasn't in alliance.
Billy Kidman- Likely, was a bigger name and was part of the alliance.
Booker T- almost certain, was a top draw guy and one of the leaders of the alliance.
Bret Hart- Was retired by then, but can't be discounted as he sure had a lot of animosity with WWE at the time and in a fantasy angle like this, he would be a go to guy.
Buff Bagwell- Hard to say. He was an upper midcard guy and was one of the first wcw guys to appear on WWE, but didn't actually take part in the invasion angle.
The Cat- Unlikely, wasn't a big draw and although he did eventually appear in wwe, he wasn't part of the invasion
Chris Kanyon- A chance, was a mid card guy in wcw and was part of the invasion angle
Chuck Palumbo- a chance mid card guy in wcw, part of the invasion angle.
Corporal Cajun- unlikely, was a mid card guy in wcw, but didn't take part in the invasion angle
Crowbar- unlikely, was a lower guy in wcw and never came to wwe.
David Flair- highly unlikely. never came over to wwe and wasn't a week to week wrestler in wcw
The KISS Demon- unlikely, was a jobber in wcw and didn't come to wwe
Diamond Dallas Page- very likely. Main event guy in WWE and was a big part of the invasion storyline.
Disco- tough to call. was a bit of a jobber in wcw but was well recognised. didn't come to wwe.
Eric Bischoff- Confirmed as part of the game.
Fit Finlay- A chance, was a jobber in wcw towards the end and wasn't part of the invasion storyline, but did end up in wwe and was high up the card.
Shane Douglas- not a big chance, but still, has both massive history with WCW and especially ECW where he was their "guy" for a long time. Wasn't part of the invasion and never came to wwe.
Goldberg- Highly likely, biggest name in wcw. Wasn't part of invasion storyline but did show up in wwe later.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan- unlikely, was semi retired at the time.
The Harris Brothers- unlikely, were also-rans. they may have come to wwe later, but if they did, they did f**k all.
General Rection (aka Hugh Morrus)- Mis said he was going to put him in the game. Was a part of the invasion storyline in real life.
Hulk Hogan- Likely. wasn't part of invasion storyline, but definitely one of the bigger wcw names at the time.
Jeff Jarrett- Likely, one of the bigger wcw names at the time and only didn't take part in the invasion storyline because he had real life heat with vince. In fact, on the night Vince interrupted Nitro, he pretty much said that there was "no chance in hell" Jarrett would be in wwe.
Mark Jindrak- Likely, was a lower guy but was part of invasion angle.
Sean O'Haire- Likely, was a lower guy but was part of invasion angle.
Johnny The Bull- unlikely
Kaz Hayashi- unlikely, was a lower guy and not part of invasion.
Jamie Noble- tough to say, was a lower card guy and not part of invasion, but did come to wwe later.
Jimmy Wang Yang- Unlikely.
Kevin Nash- Likely, wasn't part of invasion angle, but a main event guy who eventually showed up in wwe.
Konnan- Hard to say, was a mid card draw in WCW but never came over to WWE after.
Kronik (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark) hard to say, I would have said they were a good chance as one of WCW's biggest tag teams at the time and were part of alliance storyline but Mis said they were one of 2 people bunniesman mentioned that didn't make it.
Lance Storm- Highly likely. Has roots in ECW and WCW and was part of invasion where he actually turned to ECW before the 2 factions aligned. If there is a separate ECW alliance, he would be a likely candidate.
Lieutenant Loco (Chavo Guerrero)- I would say likely, was a lower card guy in wcw, but was part of the alliance and did become a bigger name guy later on in wwe.
Mike Awesome- likely, was an upper mid card guy in wcw, was part of the invasion (one of the first to show up). Has roots in ECW and is a very likely candidate for them.
Mike Sanders- hard to say, defiite jobber. Although he was part of alliance in real life.
Norman Smiley- I would say unlikely. wasn't a star and never came over to wwe.
Scott Hall- likely, was a main event guy in wcw. Wasn't part of invasion in real life, but did come over to WWE eventually.
Shawn Stasiak- Hard to say, was part of the alliance, but was on the very low end of the totem pole.
Prime Time- unlikely, lower card, never came to wwe.
Rey Mysterio Jr.- likely, was a bigger name. wasn't part of invasion but of course became a star in wwe later on.
Ric Flair- Confirmed in the game.
Rick Steiner- I would say unlikely. Wasn't a bigger name by 2001 and never came over to wwe.
Scott Steiner- Likely, was wcw champion in 2001 and although wasn't part of invasion, he did come over later.
Sid Vicious - tough to say, he was considered main event in wcw but still wasn't a top draw. never came over to wwe.
Stevie Ray- unlikely, lower card guy who never came over to wwe.
Sting- Confirmed in the game.
Tank Abbott- unlikely, lower card guy who never came over to wwe.
Terry Funk- unlikely, people probably forget he was in wcw at the time.
The Total Package (aka Lex Luger)- Likely, one of the bigger names in WCW although he never came over to wwe.
Vampiro- Unlikely, lower card guy who never came over to wwe.
The WWE Roster at the time:
Al Snow- Became famous in ECW but remained wwe during invasion and should be wwe if in game.
Faarooq- one time WCW champion, but that was in the early 90s, remained wwe during invasion.
Bradshaw- definitely wwe.
Big Boss Man- Was in WCW for a while, but is more identified as wwe.
Billy Gunn- Definitely WWE.
Bull Buchanan- Definitely wwe but doubt hes in the game.
Chris Benoit- could be a minor WCW or ECW chance, as he did appear in both. But was WWF during invasion.
Chris Jericho- could be a minor WCW or ECW chance, as he did appear in both. But was WWF during invasion.
Crash Holly- definite WWE
Dean Malenko- could be a minor WCW or ECW chance, as he did appear in both. But was WWF during invasion.
D-Von Dudley- definite chance for ECW, as he defected to them during invasion.

Christian- did switch to alliance towards the end, despite having no history with either WCW or ECW.
Goodfather- definite WWE.
Hardcore Holly- definite wwe
Matt Hardy- definite wwe.
Jeff Hardy- definite wwe.
Jerry Lynn- I think he was injured during invasion, but if he was there, he would have been under ECW as a massive part of that organisation.
Kane- definite wwe.
K-Kwik- definite wwe.
Kurt Angle- had no past with wcw or ecw, but still become alliance in storyline towards the end.
Mick Foley- Was retired by then, but has massive history with both WCW and ECW, worth keeping in the back of mind.
Paul Heyman=confirmed in the game as commentator, but could be in game as CEO of ECW.
Perry Saturn- could be a minor WCW or ECW chance, as he did appear in both. But was WWF during invasion.
Raven- Joined Alliance. Massive ECW name and would join them if in it. Could also join WCW if there is no ECW in the game, as he was in WCW for a while.
Rhyno- Joined Alliance. Massive ECW name. Would remain WWE if ECW isn't in the game as he has no ties to WCW.
Rikishi- definite wwe.
Scotty 2 Hotty- definite wwe.
Shane McMahon - Storyline WCW chairman during alliance. But with Bischoff showing up in game already, Shane would be unlikely.
Spike Dudley- Could be ECW as he identifies as an ECW guy than any other faction, however during invasion, he remained WWE.
Stone Cold Steve Austin - Joined Alliance. Has history with both ECW and WCW but is most closely recognised as a WWE guy. Could go either way.
Steve Blackman- definite wwe.
Steven Richards- Joined Alliance. Has strong ties with ECW.
Tajiri- Minor chance to join alliance. Has ties with ECW but remained WWE during invasion.
Tazz- Almost certainly will join ECW if there is an ECW alliance as one of their bigger names.

Albert- definite wwe.
Justin Credible- would definitely join ECW if they are in the game. Wouldn't join WCW.
X-Pac- Has a minor history with WCW but would most likely remain wwe as he did during invasion.
Guys who came in during invasion:
RVD- Alliance member. Definite ECW guy. Wouldn't join WCW if ECW not in game.
Tommy Dreamer- Alliance member. Definite ECW guy. Wouldn't join WCW if ECW not in game.
