X-Men Origins: Wolverine Announced

It's a stand alone movie with no connection to the rest of the xmen series except the odd appearance by jean. However the ending will apparently be linked to days of the future past, which is both a sequel to first class and the last standing.

Is it really? I always thought the Japan stuff happened before the events of the first films.

It does but in this film the trailer shows clear references to Jean Grey's death.
