If I buy one from OS, will it be compatible for an Aus bought console? Not a knock-off chinese version though, an original. My guess is yes but hey, it's free to ask! :lol:

shouldnt make any diff. i bought the 'chinese' version from play-asia years ago (cos it was cheaper) and never had any problem

Really? No problems at all? I've only heard first hand from 2 people that they didn't work right. Might need a little more investigating. Thanks for the answer.

what didnt work? i dont have xbox live gold so all i really do is get downlaods and demos and the odd arcade game so it probably doesnt have to be conencted for ages.

maybe try a games forum and see if anyone knows there

The connection was dicey. As in it would drop out for no apparent reason & stuff. Depending on price I might give one a go. Ebay is littered with at times & while I normally dont mind paying good money for good products these adapters are NOT worth $135-$150.

i thought xbox live was dicey due to the fact we either dont have australian servers or the ones we do are crap?

i know people set up normal wireless routers to the 360 at a cheaper cost, just more fiddly, have a search on google.
