they survive on a very low budget like Spurs and dont spend up big like the other 3 yet complete pretty well with them, their European record is pretty good

they seem to be your bogey team, I dont follow them as closely as Spurs but watch most of their games, haven't seen this mornings game yet

Now I need to feel sorry for what I said about Berizzo because it turns out he's got prostate cancer and told his players at half time. No wonder they were so f**king fired up. But my annoyance aside, they still have a lot more bottle than we do

Watched the replay this afgtyernoon (I'm at home with the flu). Ran Moscow ragged, they just could not cope with Mane, Coutinho nor Saleh who rang literal rings around them. 7-0 with some really good goals. Coutinho's gola in the 4th minute was the fastest goal by a Liverpool player in the UCL, and 21 goals in the group stages is (if I heard correctly) and english recoprd for the UCL also.

Best move of the match was making Phil captain.(though I loved Manes finish).
If Klopps serious about keeping Coutinho this could be the best move Klopps made since he joined.

I don't think the move to make him captain has anything to do with convincing him to stay, he's not going to change his mind just because he was captain for 90 minutes and scored a hat-trick.

You’re right 90 minutes won’t make a difference but if he was made captain on a regular basis it would.
It’ll do more to influence him to stay than starting him on the bench in a Merseyside Derby.

Speaking of the derby 2 points thrown away.
People can debate if it was a penalty as much as they like but at the end of the day it was dumb defending.
Wonder if Lovren will get the free ride he’s been getting from the press after this one?

I wanna punch that man in the face, what a f**king moronic moment that ruined a great effort from the rest of the team

You could probably add Mane shooting himself when he was in a 4 on 1 situation with three unmarked team mates inside him late in the first half. Would have made it 2-0 at halftime and probably killed the match. It was such a dumb decision.

Looking back on it, in the penalty itself Lovren actually did nothing wrong. He was shepherding Calvert-Lewin, had his hands in front him acting as a buffer (which he is allowed to do, of course), and then CL backs himself into Lovren and then falls down like a stack of cards. It was a shameful dive. What Lovren did do wrong was letting CL get into that position in the first place, he fell asleep defensively.

But the ref indeed bottled it. Absolutely bottled it. The decision was just as bad as the one Henderson copped against Brighton, these f**king refs panic and then convince themselves that any slight contact = enough force to justify a foul. It's a f**king contact sport.

No matter, I just saw it.

Lol nick.. Hands in front of him acting as a buffer??

His hands didn't go in front of him until he put them up and pushes out....

Ref was 100% correct, every day of the week.

Also saw the mane non pass situation, what a f**king awful decision to shoot that was.

Nice dummy spit by Klopp post game interview.

Almost as funny as "I want to punch him in the face"

Lol. Please never be a referee Mong.

Lovren puts his hands up because CL is quite literally flinging himself into Lovren. There's a number of reasons why Lovren would want to create a buffer with his hands, such as preventing a head clash, a possibility you'd notice if you watched it properly. Is Lovren even making a pushing motion with his hands? No. CLs body goes into Lovren's while both feet are off the ground and then he bounces off Lovren. So he either dived or fell over because of himself.

"Hands in front of him acting as a buffer??

Um, yeah, derrrr. He didn't put his hands up until he needed to.

But, if this happened to West Ham against lets say Chelsea, you'd be livid. Don't deny it.

Yeah imagine a Liverpool manager and fan being f**king livid and dismayed after dropping 2 points in a local derby they dominated because of a bullshit pen near the end. Curious how you never take the piss out of emotional saints fans though.

Peter Walton, former EPL referee: "soft decision, there isn't enough contact for CL to tumble like that. Should have played on."
