Matip has always been overrated, lovren on his day is a distinctly superior player.Well at least the boys won today (3-0). Reports are we controlled the game well and never gave Huddersfield much of a sniff. Some reports have it that Can was amongst best on park. He played in central midfield with Henderson, with Wini and the Ox rested.
Also Lovren played in place of a rested VVD and played much better than Matip did. Roberston relaced Moreno in the starting lineup and had a another fine game too reportedly.
I'm miserable because??? You're very deludedOn second thoughts, that is a fun light hearted thread, they probs don't want a miserable merkin like yourself posting there
f**king lol, you used to love me when Jimbo and I used to lock horns, wasn't a 'miserable merkin' back then and I haven't really changed much since then I've somehow upset you since then and you're clearly miserable about it. If you feel this strongly about it then just send me a DM to talk about it rather than clogging this thread with obnoxious vendetta bullshit no one cares aboutI don't know why you're a miserable merkin, nick.
Always forget Markovic is still on the books - just sell the poor bastard already

Did you see Matip completed 154 of 161 passes a club record?
Liverpool made 950 odd passes a record since stats came in and Lovren and Matip made 6 less passes than the Huddersfield side.
What does it all mean?
No idea but if they try making that many passes against a top 6 side you can bet they’d stuff it up.
Forgot to mention Can.
There’s 2 of him.He was woeful in the FA Cup game.
Wasn’t real good the game before either.
Needed a GPS to locate who he was marking in defence.
He was just about best on the park against Huddersfield.
He’s the Teddy Goodwin of Liverpool Football Club.
That picture makes it look far worse
Anyway you look at it it’s naive(dumb) defending.it shows what happened, it is what it is
It shows what happened at one snapshot of a millisecond lolit shows what happened, it is what it is
Dont be stupid, he was actually more likely to concede a penalty if he committed to the ball - he did the oppositeAnyway you look at it it’s naive(dumb) defending.
95 mins in you don’t try going in like that.
Not the first time our defenders have been guilty of exactly the same thing this year.

Exactly, I understand Foz's frustration but there's an agenda of 'Liverpool defenders are shit' that makes people more inclined to criticise them95 minutes the poor guy is nearly out on his feet, I'm sure it wan't intentional
