Okay guys & gals, dunno if this has been done before but lets find out about our favorite music videos. I always thought it would be one of the coolest thing to do as a part of a band, but so many of 'em hate the whole video making experience.

Ghost Town by the Specials is definiely one of my favs, don't like Reggae much but the song and the clip worked so well for me!

Some of Duran Duran's clips were awesome, particularly Hungry like the wolf and Girls on film (yeah the raunchy nite version)

Frank Black's 'I wanna live in Los Angeles' is by far the best hovercraft music vid I'v ever seen and the jacksons 'Can you feel it' was mind blowing when it came out with all the special FX in it.

Some other clips that come to mind are

Hed(PE) - Hey Bartender
Korn - ADIDAS
Dandy Warhols - Not if you were the last junkie on earth
Pearl Jam - Evolution
Talking Heads - once in a lifetime
Talk, Talk - It's my life
Metallica - Until it sleeps

Any suggestions people!

Whats that one like, normally RAGE shows the song title but not the clip then goes to the next song.

Foo Fighters- Learn to Fly, a classic

the windowlicker clip had me traumatised!!

Friggin weird, isn't it? i love it!

For those who have never seen the clip, here's a basic rundown: The first 5 minutes or so (there is no music, only dialougue) of the clip consists of two 'african-american' guys in their convertible argueing and talking crap, until they proceed to pull up in front of two prostitues who decline their advances. You watch this for about 5 minutes thinking 'What the hell is this? is this a music video?', until a amazingly long limosuine pulls up along side (the music finally starts), a micheal-jackson-esque` creature with a warped/distorted face gets out and dances (with umbrellas, of course) with a bunch bottylicious hoes, also with bizzare distored faces. Amazingly weird. You gotta see it to believe it. I think the clip goes for about 15 minutes in total too.

Come to daddy was pretty horrid as well!
The group of little kids runnin' around all with the aphex twin's face was freaky, and then that monster thing that comes out of the tv to roar at the old woman, holy sh*t!

Has he made any other clips of note? They are the only two I've seen!

Here's some examples of aphex's film clips!

Goodshirt are famous (well, in NZ anyway) for their one take video for "Sophie", I had no idea they had done another (I haven't even heard of that song tbh).

Devo's "R U Experienced" and Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble's "Couldn't Stand the Weather" are pretty good.

Nowadays, give me anything with scantily clad (or scarcely clad) women and that will do nicely.
