I'm amazed that Penrith have not got a NRLW side. What's the bet when they do they will kick arse immediately.
Yes that is strange!? They should have lots of girls/women in the district who probably are playing for local clubs and capable of being part of a formidable team with some extras from other clubs, such as ours, like we have lost quite a lot.

I’ve heard the same Jeremy Dragon. A mate of mine’s daughter played in the Penrith comp. He said it was a bit of a shambles and they were not interested in the women’s game only the men’s.

incidentally, his daughter now plays for Illawarra. He said that Jamie Soward is not that popular with the local players, maybe why the mass exodus at the end of last year. He is reluctant to promote players from within the Dragons and Steelers systems apparently.

I think Jamie's done a pretty good job with them. To be a chance of making the finals with one round to play exceeds most people's expectations. If he can manage to keep the squad together they'll be a tough team to beat next season.

Got done by the Sharkies unfortunately to the tune of 16-8. They tried their best but with all of the injuries could not conjure up a win tonight. The womens local derby a win to the Sharks like the mens.
