We looked the goods a few years ago when we made the GF and lost but have steadily deteriorated since then
Teagan Berry the only highlight this year IMO

Very average squad IMO, the expansion a serious dilutionary effect on skill set and if they expand again next year teams will be paper thin in skill set and ability

We lost a tonne of good players especially tonogato , Apps, Fui plus many others

I read somewhere that the players had the shits with Sowie and didnt want to be there anymore , yet the GF year all singing his praises , so not sure

Not sure about what salary caps are but Rorters again seem to be able to throw around enough money to have star players everywhere

I cant see us doing much with the current roster next year unless there are some significant additions

Agreed.

As much as the NRL, Fox & 9 try to talk up the NRLW (for commercial reasons), it still has a fair way to go.

I think you're a bit harsh on the squad, we lost a whole lot of talent for various reasons, club has gone out and created a squad which has alot of upside, still need a few more players to add, need a winger for sure, and a couple of bigger mobile forwards, obviously will depend who we lose as to what positions need to be looked at, Besides Berry, Margot Vella was good, Lendill played wing, centre, 2nd row and was a good hard worker doesnt let you down Koster runs good lines and plays aggressive as well, Mulhall only 18 played 2 or 3 games at the end and was really good has good size and is aggressive , Teakaranga-Kota really lifted the last few games, Alexis Tauaneai was massive for us and a big loss, McGrath was playing injured the whole season and we missed Brown and Law just as they started to hit their straps, teams showed alot of heart especially in the middle part of the season, just ran out of troops towards the end, i think we have some good quality to build on

I think the team did well considering the number of players making their debut this year and the average age of the squad, that plus the number of lengthy injuries we suffered too & it's difficult to be too harsh on the side as a whole.
There are definitely a few positions that need strengthening & Soward needs to work out a few things in his coaching methods. Mainly working out what his strongest side is far earlier in the season (preferably in pre season) so he isn't chopping/ changing every week & his use of the bench.

Thanks girls from all teams. A great weekend because Broncos and Roosters lost! I know it's sad, but I still enjoyed it!
Good to see the Titans make the grand final when they came last in 2022 and beating the favourites, the Roosters. Better squad and good coaching and better commitment I'd say.

The Knights will be too strong though I feel and win the grand final next Sunday.
