Wow we lost Tara as well, so we have lost our 3 biggest players now, where has she ended up?
She signed with the Broncos.

It is starting to become a real worry for next year. Literally every single club bar maybe the tigers are gaining decent quality players and we are just losing them.

From what I hear there could be a few more of the higher stature players out the door as well, it's looking like we are going to have a very very young squad next year because there doesn't seem to be any top level signings on the horizon from what I can see.

I really thought with the signing of Bremner and then Cross that we would see some movement but its been crickets.
At this stage it genuinely looks like a two horse race between us & tigers for the spoon.

Bulldogs & warriors are making signings to come in with a bang while we continue to flounder near the bottom.

Give em time. It is a squad clean out which was required. Getting our house in order. Sowie built this average squad and lost and kept some of the wrong players.
We have a plethora of young girls coming through
Yes you wont see the same coached side but we had to rebuild and new teams were always going to poach who they can.

Thing I am worried about though is that without the right type of players in the squad to also nurture the growth and mentor the young girls, it may stunt their growth considerably.
That's why i was expecting with Cross & Bremner we would see a similar play to Flanno in bringing in the likes of Gutho/ Cook etc.
When i look over the current squad, I honestly don't see a single leader. Realistically the only 3 players we have that could be considered leaders or mentors are Mcgregor, Law & King and if I am being honest, I don't really rate either of Rae or Bobbi.
King is probably the closest to being the type of mentor/ leader we need but she is obviously still a new comer to League.

Yep but wait to the final squad is assembled or announced as they are months away from training
Flash is a potential leader as working on her defensive side from the back
I have always said they have made the girls game mimic the men in professionalism too quick targeting expansion for a slice of broadcasters pie
especially when not generating the revenue yet and a lot if girls are not full time

I am not expecting them to make many if any BIG name signings as most are already signed up, I hope they bring in some seasoned players though and remove some of the deadwood.
I would expect Flash to be the biggest improver having Bremner there to help her. Her potential at fullback could be massive but she needed someone to learn from, now she has that. Lets see what she becomes.

Hopefully we can be a genuine threat next year.
