The kick-off to the 2025 NRLW season is almost here with Nathan Cross' Dragons preparing for a Saturday afternoon showdown against the Raiders.

Goalkicking is inherently more difficult for NRLW players. Footballs and field dimensions are the same but the bodies of the kickers are not. We should view it as a positive. Adds an extra dimension to the women's game. As you say, a high-percentage kicker yields greater value.

It's generally a mistake to expect or even want female RL to replicate male RL in every detail. Men and women are different, hence NRL and NRLW are different. Vive la différence!
