What is wrong with our club? We seem to lose good players very easily. I wish we could hire the right management staff who understands retention.

Wouldn't surprise me if she leaves and goes to the roosters, maybe thats why Emma is signed for 2027 as an insurance policy for Berry leaving..

As much as I like Berry, we became to reliant on her. She is a good fullback but whereas in previous years you would have had her fighting with Upton for best FB in the game, she has fallen behind quite a bit the last few seasons, she probably wouldn't even be top 4 now.

Her biggest asset is obviously her speed, problem is, that is about her only asset. She hasn't really progressed her game past that.
That may change at a better run club like the Roosters where she will also have better players around her, plus she won't be the focal point of everything like she is here.

I think for her game to progress and reach her potential, she probably does need to go elsewhere.

Dragons sign Ciesiolka to 4-year deal

The Dragons are thrilled to announce that Shenae Ciesiolka has agreed to join the club on a four-year deal, effective immediately.

The deal will see the 28-year-old contracted with the club until at least the end of the 2029 season.

Ciesiolka, who has spent the past six seasons with Brisbane, is an 11-time Queensland and three-time Australian representative.

Also a premiership winner with the Broncos in 2020 and 2025, Ciesiolka comes to the club boasting one of the sport’s more impressive resumés.

“It is massive for us to add Shenae to our squad,” Head Coach Nathan Cross said.

“She’s accomplished a lot in this game and will add another dimension to our backline. I think she will be a huge addition for us on and off the field; her leadership and personality will mix in with our squad really well. We’re on an exciting journey here at the Dragons and it’s great to know Shenae will be a part of it.”
