Young Captains

The older blokes are more inclined to make the better captains (most young blokes with the confidence and personality big enough to be the no1 voice in this kind of group usually have to much ego).

But occasionally you get a young with the confidence to lead the older guys and the mind to put the team first. They are rare, but when they come along they shouldnt be excluded from the leadership group purely because of their age.

I believe its too soon for RTS and Moylan. RTS was an especially strange choice given not only his age but how new he was to the team. I might be wrong but was RTS even in a leadership group at the Chooks? Says a bit about the Warriors if he rocks up and after 1 season at 23 he's the best leadership material in the joint.

I think if you got good leaders (coach, CEO etc.) they'll know who and more importantly when, to appoint as leaders.

I agree. I've read that he has stated he is reading motivation books to try become a great leader. It seems he is taking the role very seriously. Moylan on the other hand is really struggling with it and sees it more as a burden.

I just think the timing is all wrong for Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to be handed it at 24 particularly when the Warriors are in such turmoil at the moment.

Cherry-Evans I would say is borderline of being a young captain at 28. I will say though it's lit a fire under him and made him take more responsibility this year and he has responded. Commentators suggesting the same would happen if Jarryd Hayne was named captain of the Titans are making a bold prediction.
he is borderline being young but you think moylan is young???????????

Wade Graham has been groomed for a couple of seasons now.

Will probably have to wait one more year, is only 26.

Once he takes over I think Brailey will be groomed.

Naming blokes out of the blue (RTS and Moylan) I find weird.
Is wade graham really only 26?!? Fmd. It seems like he's been around forever.

That's awesome. He'll still be around for ages. Love watching him play footy.
