With all this talk I'm assuming that Blake Green is our long term number 6. Marcus Perenera however might have something to say about that. Which to me means bye bye John Morris. Marsh as long term hooker and Riddell to eventually switch from hooker to 2nd row.

Blake Green is an outstanding half and when he was pushed to 5/8 with Queenen coming in he wasnt at his best. His a great half with a complete game. However Smith is really only suited to half as he doesnt have the best running game. I dont think there is room for both in the side unless:

6 Green
7 Smith

I still see Green as a great prospect for half in the future.

Smith could very well push Marsh back to hooker. But Riddell has been bought to play hooker but could be pushed to 2nd row.

Blake Green will make it and is a top halfback but If tim Smith makes grade at Half and is a good one I believe Blake will have to play 5/8. The reason is that Blake running game is much more better than Tims. Tim played 5/8 for the PL team when he was promoted and he looked out of sorts he does not go well there. He is 1000 times better half than 5/8. Blake is a better all-round player than Tim but we can acommodate both players in the halfs. They played one game in Flegg together and went ok for the time they were on the field. Also Tim is an excellent Goal kicker.

Oh yeah John Moriss will be Gorneski, we have better younger players coming through and they are Cheaper $$$$$$$$$$. He is not a bad player but he is nothing special either, he is very good utility.

I agree. Morris has to go. I would rather see two Parra juniors who have made the ranks lead our team.

Yeah, well I must have been looking the other way as most times he was kicking from the sidelines he would get them.

Watched a heap of games and didnt seem to nail heaps.

If Burt cements a first grade wing position he should stay our no.1 goal kicker for the long term. He actually holds the point scoring record for the highest amount of points in one game. From memory it was 28.

I had a dream the other night that we were 22 points ahead in Rd 1 and Riddell was allowed to kick and everyone was doing the hand in the air thing. God I hope it comes true.

I still think Peterson will take Burts position.

And if Smith does miss out in FG for hendersen or someone else, would you see

Or is Green still too green and Perenara will get his spot.

However, if we are grooming Smith be Half, would PL be

6. Green
7. Perenara assuming Smoth is 14. for FG

But there are only 2 spots for the 3 of them, someone is going to be disappointed as we can't keep them all long term.
