Didn't know that about the bench. Could make it easier. Against Brazil though, I think we'd be best sticking with a 4-5-1, trying to shut them down and turn it over in midfield for the counter-attack, utilising Viduka and Cahill in or around the box and Kewell and Bresciano attacking from outside.
In the Japan game I'd like to see the same 4-5-1, but to wear them down, and then punish them with a couple of forwards late in the game (e.g. Kewell crosses to Kennedy - Header - GOAL!!!!!!!)
