Didn't know that about the bench. Could make it easier. Against Brazil though, I think we'd be best sticking with a 4-5-1, trying to shut them down and turn it over in midfield for the counter-attack, utilising Viduka and Cahill in or around the box and Kewell and Bresciano attacking from outside.

In the Japan game I'd like to see the same 4-5-1, but to wear them down, and then punish them with a couple of forwards late in the game (e.g. Kewell crosses to Kennedy - Header - GOAL!!!!!!!)

Schwarzer comes back in after the shocker Kalac had. Sterjovksi has played right back before and is a very versatile player. He is a natural right side player. I would choose him over Luke Wilshire who would be the other option.

Hopefully Kewell is fit. Cahill and Marco pick themselves. Will the real Mark Viduka please stand up? If he wasnt captain I would have Aloisi ahead of him. All this talk about him doing a good job, holding the ball etc is BS. A striker is there to score goals. He failed twice against Uruguay, Greece, Holland, Japan, Brazil and Croatia. Aloisi and even Kennedy have looked more dangerous.

Heres hoping for a great game. The lads have done great getting this far. You cant help but look forward though. Win this game and we meet the victor out of Switzerland and Ukraine, a very winnable game
