Manly:

1. Brett Stewart
2. Scott Donald(resign him)/John Hopoate
3. Aaron Moule(or someone else we sign)
4. Chris Hicks/Albert Torrens
5. Chris Hicks/John Hopoate
6. Andrew Walker
7. Michael Monaghan
8. Jason King
9. Chad Randall
10. Brent Kite
11. Sam Harris
12. Ben Kennedy
13. Steve Menzies

14. Anthony Watmough
15. Shayne Dunley
16. Kylie Leuluai (Will play for the kiwis next year)
17. Daniel Heckenburg

Then you have Luke Williamson, Ian Donnelly, and I think Manly will sign another winger or centre as well as someone like Moule, especially if Donald goes. A backup halfback will also be purchased.

A few uncomfimed signings in blunty's team Lyon, Moule, Holdsworth and Hill and considering the success rate with signing players they were chasing they'd be lucky to get 1 of those 4

Actually as I recall we were 2 from 2 before June 30. Then Parramatta offered Tahu a lot of money, and Manly didn't even try and table an offer in the end, and we offered Monaghan the most money out of all opposed yet he chose the Roosters. I wouldn't say we are doing that badly in the recruitment stakes.

Assuming Gordy hang up the boots (which looks likely):

1. Karmichael Hunt
2. Justin Hodges
3. Brent Tate
4. Shaun Berrigan
5. Craig Frawley
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Brett Seymour
8. Shane Webcke
9. Barry Berrigan
10. Petero Civoniceva
11. Corey Parker
12. Dane Carlaw
13. Tonie Carroll

14. Casey McGuire
15. Neville Costigan
16. Tom Learoyd
17. Darren Mapp

Rest of top 25 squad: David Stagg, Sam Thaiday, Brad Meyers, Berrick Barnes, Michael Ryan, Ben Czislowski, Nick Parfitt, Neale Wyatt

* If Tallis choses not to retire, he has said he will play the 2005 season off the bench, which would push either Learoyd or Mapp back to the Clydesdales.

* I'm not sure what the plans are for Hodges. He may have to play in the centres if he hasn't regained his speed, pushing Tate out to the wing.

To the original post. You would think Peter Cusak would have to be in there somewhere in the Souths team.
