Don't think anyone said they did. Telstra are giving it to us in every conceivable orifice though.

They might be backing the game but they're doing f**k-all to promote it, to the point where they run ads for THE OPPOSITION CODE during our games! FFS don't bother even trying to defend Telstra.

Keep the sponsors coming if you know them guys...
Is this the same Telstra that sponsored the scum Super League competition?

for the first half of 1996 after they split with James Hardie and before they got Wagon Wheels (a car dealership not the Cookie) they actually had "Opportunity" splashed on the front of the jerseys

The funny thing about the Wagon Wheels sponsor is that the full company name was "Western
Wagon Wheels" and at the time Dallas Weston, Daniel Wagon and Adam Wheeler (nickname Wheels) all played for the Eels

The Bulldogs' major sponsor Mitsubishi Electric Australia has extended its sponsorship of the Club for another season.

Bulldogs CEO Malcolm Noad said, "We're very happy that Mitsubishi Electric has extended its sponsorship with the Bulldogs. It has been a great partnership and this extension is a real show of faith by the company in the team, the club and our supporters."

Mitsubishi Electric Executive Director Tom Seeto commented, "Mitsubishi Electric has had a long history of success with the Bulldogs including the 2004 Premiership win. The decision to exercise our option to continue the sponsorship for another year was an easy one to make."

2008 will mark Mitsubishi Electric's fifth year as the Bulldogs' naming rights and front of jersey sponsor.

Mitsubishi Electric Australia designs, imports and markets a wide range of products for the Australian market; ranging from consumer goods such as digital electronics, residential air conditioners, and refrigerators, all the way through to industrial products including semiconductors, industrial automation equipment, commercial air conditioning systems and railway equipment.
