If I could max out the Visa to get the Mighty Magpies back in the big time I'd spend my dough on:
1. Lockyer - well of course
2. Luke Covell - ??? well Luke is going to be THE best goal kicker in the game, and is a more than handy player for mine - plus he's a great guy and loved playing for the Magpies
3. Hegarty - I've grown to appreciate chrome domes work recently
4. Lyon - I really had trouble with centres but I've always like having a guy with a bit of steel out there
5. Rooney - big and quick, two very nice things to have in a winger
6. Fittler - still the benchmark at 6 by so far it ain't funny.
7. Orford - Joey hasn't got too long left and I reckon this guy is just going to improve outta sight
8. Clinton - love watching the big guy do his stuff
9. Wing - I think Bedsy is the better dummy half, but Wing offers too much to overlook
10. Bailey - No 1 Prop in the world - don't believe me watch Origins 1 & 2 again
11. Laffranchi - Boof is coming on nicely. A good honest hard working player. Keep an eye on him.
12. Fitzgibbon - another guy who will never ever let you down.
13. Kennedy - well worth the injury risk
14. Lang - Marty is my kinda guy, tough as nails and a yards man of the highest order
15. Mason - yeah I know plenty have there doubts on Mason, but I still think he can be the most devasting forward on his day - you've just gotta use him smart.
16. Morley - I was trying to avoid selecting the pom, but wouldn't you love to be able to chuck him in after 20?
17. Campbell - who better coming off the bench to torment a tiring defence than Presto? Can cover most backline positions.
