Surprised so many people rate Clinton; I can't see what all the fuss is about.

1. Lockyer - The best
2. Lewis - Him or Rooney. Just kick to his wing and he'll catch it.
3. Girdler - Took Gidley and Tahu out of the game in the 2nd half vs NC
4. Timmins - Defensive and attacking sound.
5. Meli - How many tries vs the Bulldogs?
6. Fittler (c) - Still the best
7. Johns - 'nuff said
8. Bailey - Origin performance sealed this one.
9. Priddis - Solid all year round and chases every ball.
10. Civoniceva - Solid
11. Puletua - The hair pair had to be in the starting line up, they are a team.
12. Morley - can play 80mins and will kill the opposition
13. Galuvao - Because he and Tony are a team.

14. Gower - Can cover all three playmaking positions.
15. Lauiti'ti - Torrid year but can still be the best 2nd rower in the game.
16. Hindmarsh - At 2001 form he was great.
17. Clinton (vc) - I couldn't think of any other props, plus he can motivate.

Okay since everyone else is....

1. Minicheillo - A big impact player with good acuracy
2. Hegarty- the bold man does wonders
3. Girdler - his performances in the play-offs are unbeatable
4. Toopi - Such a fast mover and can off-load
5. Meli - Him and Toopi are the best team
6 Campbell - A hard pick, but i just chose Preston coz hes good :p
7. Gower - Johns and Jones are getting old. A fast man with experience
8. O'Meley- Such a big man. Very powerful and good runner
9. Wing - I see him the best Hooker today. He is fast, powerful and an 80 minute man
10. Villasanti- Cant let him no be in the team with his hard hits
11. Lautiti- Big man with offloads, if on form unbeatable
12 Ricketson - another man who has experience , great runner and knows the skills
13 Sattler- A full 80 minute man if needed.

14. Galloway - I see this kids future coming up fast, an awesome bloke whos young and very VERY BIG
15. Mason - Such an impact player from the bench
16. Tahu - We need 1 back on the bench an this is the guy to do it
17. Hindmarsh - A working bloke, he'd have so much impact from the bench, Could come on after say 20 odd minutes and play the rest of the game.

Huh? How does this statement address the issue of Joel Clinton?

Hes saying he cant see why you would rate crocker, ricketson cayless and minichello either. i think hes putting them in the same group as joel clinton.

I'm gonna have another go! A team I'd love to see on the park

1. Eion Crossan - an absolute legend, ace goalkicker, out of retirement
2. Jason Moodie - speed, step, oustanding hands, what more could you want??
3. Owen Craigie - a powerhouse!!
4. Anthony Quinn - just the coolest name in 1st grade
5. Preston Campbell - on the wing, to see of he sulks
6. John Hopoate - love to see him handling the ball more often :)
7. Willie Peters - he's the next big thing, trust me!
8. Jason Stevens - AWESOME
9. Brett Kimmorley - because Anderson's not picking this team!!
10. Kirk Reyonoldson - gotta love the guy! In every team I pick from now on!
11. Brad Meyers - well, it's either Willie Peters or Brad!!
12. Willie Mason - go Willie GO
13. Kevin Campion - need a pretty boy in every team.

14. Chris Walker - he's a bargain, and would love to play in this side
15. Andrew Walker - if we can find him
16. Kurt Sherlock - Roosters legend out of retirement
17. Phil Bailey - obviously he's a must - everyone says so!!

My dream team would be:

1. Lockyer - I rate him higher than Johns, and am still not convinced he's not playing out of position.
2. Minicello - how good's he been the last couple of years
3. Tate - quality centre
4. Gidley - I still like to see a centre who combines well with his winger
5. Sing - seems to get better with age
6. Fittler - still has the ability to turn a game on his own
7. Orford - I was going to say Johns, but I think Orford has been more consistent of late
8. Webcke - Will run and tackle all day
9. Smith - in his first full year of first grade played a great origin game, and week in week out helped the Storm to finish fifth this year, and can play 80 mins
10. Kearns - See Webcke
11. Fitzgibbon - consistent as they come
12. Puletua - a big second rower who terrorises opponents with his power and skill
13. Scott Hill - forget this year as he was injured all year, but when fit a great ball player and one of the most dangerous players inside the opposition 20

14. Bailey - watch origin this year
15. Gulavou (however you spell it) - see Puletua
16. Girdler - can cover a number of positions on the backline
17. Davico - a workhorse who just gets the job done
