When I was living in Chile, absolutely loved one of the top band from Chile called Los Prisioneros (The Prisoners) especially their big hit 'La Voz de los 80's' (The Voice of the 80's) ....ok they only sang in Spanish and you may have never travelled or lived in another country but what is your favourite band/artist that sings in a foreign language or maybe sings half English half their language songs?????

Soothsayer- a french canadian thrash band from the late 80's.
Theyve got one or two songs in english but they stuffed up the translation and make little or no sence

I'm friends with heaps of foreign bands from asia, europe and south america.
I could name a million bands but these are my fav bands that dont speak english the whole way or at all:

Warhead (jpn)
King Ly Chee (hong kong)
Coalition (Poland)
Channel X (Malaysia)
Envy (Jpn)
Forward (jpn)
Endzweck (Jpn)
Count Of Strength (jpn)
Skitsystem (Sweden)
Rai Ko Ris (Nepal)
Bored To Death (France)
Solstício (Brazil)
Larusso (Brazil)
Frontal (Brazil)

Their all underground hardcore and punk bands so not many people would have heard of them apart from possibly skitsystem and envy who are pretty big in hardcore terms.

Probably half my music collection is foreign, a lot of stuff particularly from Scandinavia. Too many top acts to pick a favourite.

I'll put forth
Brujeria (Mexico)
Sepultura (Brazil)
Bathory (sweden)
Opeth (Sweden)
In Flames (Sweden)... well there's a f**king lot of good bands from Sweden/Scandinavia
Vader (poland)

NoFX - Foreign is just a country which isnt your own, they can still speak the same language.

You're a knob, since when is English a foreign language to you?

Language has nothing to do with being foreign. An Australian in America is a FOREIGNER regardless of the fact they both speak english. The thread title should be "Favourite band from a non-English speaking nation".

Unless we are referring to foreign LANGUAGES.

Why are people trying to be too smart for their own good?

Anything that is alien, is foreign.

Another knob.
