I saw there was a similar thread (Your team of all time favourite Rabbitohs) but this one is just for your #1 favourite. Doesn't have to be someone from your lifetime but I think it's very cool if it's someone you've actually seen play in the flesh.

For me, if you're talking the last 20 years or so then it absolutely has to be Sutto ("Yeah the Boys!). However if you're talking about the whole time I've been a Bunnies fan then it's Bundy hands down. Not just the toughest Bunny I've ever seen but the toughest SOB to set foot on a footy field. You knew if the opposition was going to try some dirty shit then Bundy was going to come out swinging.

I was born 4 days before the 1971 premiership so I’ve seen 2 titles!

Paul SAIT---in 1969 he made the NSW team from 2nd grade---after the state game he returned to the seconds--Sths were so strong back then that Paul had to bide his time to become a permanent 1st grader--very classy ball player--very tough-- excelled in all positions in the pigs except hooker---one of the best centres Sths have ever had too !!

As a kid I watched Clive CHURCHILL a fair bit---he was that good that he controlled games like a puppeteer---in many games it seemed he was in charge of both teams--he was steps ahead of all players on the field !!

I remember being at Redfern Oval midweek back in the 50s where Sths were playing Easts in a sudden death play-off game to scrape into the top 4 /semi finals--the scores were locked up in the last couple of minutes of the match with Sths on the attack---Churchill asked for the ball then put up an "up & under"[now a bomb] which dropped right in front of the goal-posts---Churchill charged towards the ball which was caught by the young Easts hooker at the time---Churchill was calling out "stay down" which the Easts player did without actually being tackled---voluntary tackle,of course--penalty Sths--Churchill calmly kicks the goal from in front of the posts--Sths into the semis !!!
