He backs himself in decisions (rare these days) without going upstairs every 5 mins.

Yes he gets some wrong but so do the others .

The GOAT Moghseen aside, if I had to choose one of the current (or modern) crop it'd probs be GavBadge.

I don't think there's a single high quality ref amongst them, but the Badge goes ok and he's the only one who seems to be able to have an actual rapport with the players and not just be a wannabe Harrigan dickcheese
