And this is a list of notable names from the Super League

Wigan - Paleasena, Seu Seu, Vaialeki, Hanson

St Helens, Meli, Talau, V Anderson, J Cayless

Bradford - Hape, Vainakolo, J Vagana

Leeds - Lauatiti, Toopi, Poaching

The Rest - Fa'afili, Swain, Rahihi, Swann, Betham, Solomona, S Jones, Tony, T Laulaui, R Paul, H Paul.

What would be your squad from all of those names and your starting 17.

Is Covell a Kiwi? cos i would seriousy consider him as a goal kicker. Worth at least 4-6 points a game. From memory they don't have very good goal kickers

If only Mason, Hunt and Carrol were all willing to put on the black and white.

Soli is a quality player, strong, fast, just needs to be given good ball, which he doesn't get often enough at the Roosters. Watch our earlier season game v Parra, he makes a 70 metre break where he must break 6 tackles & fend McKinnon, Tahu & Grothe all twice, before slipping a great ball to Wing. He's hard to stop from 10 out, & as shown last week in our match v Warriors, when in space he gets to show his turn of pace, & makes runs equivalent to an extra forward.

If only he could hold onto the ball & stop trying to force plays. But NZ should put their quickest winger outside of him, he'll attract 2-3 defenders & pop a flick pass at will.

ozbash, you are correct on the marshall point, but wrong on the others.

3.Soliola
4.Mannering

10.Asotasi
11.Kidwell
12.T.Puletua
13.L.Anderson

14.SBW

16.Hohaia
17.hmmmmm

Vainakolo
Hape

J.Cayless
Matai

Thats seems to be his only downfall.
He also hits like a semi trailer and he is only 18 or 19. I hope he stays with the Roosters for a while yet

I really rate Mannering from the Warriors and I'd love to see him get a gig. But gee you have some good centres. Shontayne Hape would probably be my first centre picked and I too rate Soliola. Depending on what side they play, they would be my first choice centre with Mannering in the squad as backup.

If Brent Webb's ribs don't recover in time and I'd love to see his Warriors understudy Paddy Ah Van get a run. Despite his tender age he looks fairly reliable and runs the ball back hard.
