The leadup to the Hodgson in Game 3 2006. We were so close to 4 series in a row until he bottled that pass.

Always get a lot more tense when we are actually winning. Game 3 2008 was pretty nervewrecking. Feel more at ease being behind.

Also any time Billy Slater is playing fullback gets the heart pumping. Karmichael Hunt had a calming affect, felt much safer with him.

Can't remember the year, think it was 90? Mark McGaw scrambling for that ball in the in goal to score the try that wins the game.

Also Noddy's pass that was intercepted by Bowen in game 1 2005. never been more gutted, but felt sorry for Noddy.

'87 was when McGaw scored.

I agree that it's less nerve-racking to be just behind than it is to be just ahead in an Origin match.

Watched that game (Game 1 87) the other week.

Dead set it's an absolute classic - big hits, spectacular tries and a grandstand finish. Essential viewing for anybody with a passion for Rugby League.

A youthful Wayne Bennett fearing the sack is a trip down memory lane as well. It was a very brave (but correct) call to award that try!
