As for Hannay...i dont know. QLD do have some good centres in berrigan and tonga.

bowman will get a game b4 hannay, especially if thurston plays. Thurston can take over goal kicking duties. Bowman has damn good defence, and combine him with teammate Matt Sing on his wing you'll have one side solid as a rock in defence. I'd like to see Bell come into the fray and play centre with Slater on his wing. Unfortunately it doesn't look like that will happen.

Funny that, after 2 rounds everyone is selecting Thurston instead of Prince. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind of them 2 get's picked. Still 3 weeks to go till selections though, anything can happen.

It was only 18 months ago Simpson was the second 2nd rower selected in Australian sides behind Tallis and he was NSW's premier backrower been the first selected every origin. Just because Hindmarsh has played more football in the last 12 months does not mean Simpson is now suddenly a joke compared to Hindmarsh. At top form Simmo can hold his own against any forward in the world.

True in a sense but believe me as a bloke who has watched every minute of the Knights games this year i can tell you that he is near top form. It's just that he is a world class forward in a struggling side so he hasn't been noticed. He has been noticed by Stuart though. I did read recently that Ricky said he will be looking at proven rep players and he mentioned Simpson.

Btw he was first selected for NSW in 2003 as well.
