Whoever is the best chance at beating the Storm...and now the one team left are the Roosters. I fear the Cowboys could do a '98 Bulldogs- good enough to beat depleted/ ill-disciplined teams in the semis, then shown up in the GF.

If 2016 was a "soft" comp, this year is veritably flaccid.

Most teams are missing big players yet theyve still beaten the inexperienced overachievers. Only a miracle will stop a roosters storm final and a storm victory.

Roosters v Broncos - Roosters to win

Not going to happen unfortunately. Would be nice to see Bennett lose his 3rd gf.

Even though they can't beat Melbourne, I would love to see a Brisbane vs North QLD 2 where Hunt redeems his soul and forgives himself.

What a shitty top 4....

Ill say that Cowboys against either Melbourne or Brissy has benefits.

- brissy to further build the rivalry (i dont mind who wins)
- Melbourne to create what could be a huge rivalry (Cowboys would be the better winners)

I want the Roosters to lose to give their fans a sense of "unfinished business" so they might actually turn up next year.

Cowboys broncos.

Cowboys to win. And finally put to bed the little brother tag.

And finish the argument about who won the war.

Which was his first loss? Souths in the brl?

The one where he co-coached Canberra in 1987.

The media liked to ignore that one and just pretend Don Furner was the sole coach as it fit their little narrative that Bennett was unbeatable in GFs which they perpetuated until 2015.
