I assume some young blokes will come into the top 30 and offer depth. Guys like Sivo (spelling?) Everyone has been talking about. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Sivo will be good but may not next year. Only played half a season of NSW Cup. No Junior reps very raw. I'd have him as a development player Top 30 man squad in 2019

I just realised: we will most likely end up with second rowers in the centres. If injuries happen. It's one spot we have a lot of depth.

That's generally how you win comps. No one remembers who has the best depth by wining lower grades.

To win a comp it's all eggs in one basket stuff and hope everything (draw, injuries etc) go your way.

We still have to play depth players $100k. It is the paying some of the forwards overs that is the issue paying for past efforts in the case of Tamou and possible worth with Bryce etc.

Guys like Cerruto would be on that just elsewhere squad balance is just all out now

Development player we can use him if he comes along sooner certainly worth the effort. If we had an injury round 2 and he is in the FG squad we have to use him.

Yeah but no Whare or DWZ at training though. After xmas will be the time we will find out

Is it just me, or is the depth of our back line pretty threadbare? Edwards goes down for example and it’s who? DWZ? And who takes the wing spot? Couple of injuries to the wrong people and we could be in trouble...

Maybe Waqa to fullback if Edwards is injured. He has played a lot of it in lower grades but it is an area we are a bit light in.
Coaches have seemed very reluctant to put DWZ at the back for whatever reason. He certainly has some drop ball in him, as does waqa, but Blake would be more of a handful in attack.
Let’s just hope Edwards has an injury free break out year.

With Latu leaving my bench would include Kade Ellis and Oliver Clark rotating weekly giving them 20 or so minutes a game to get them used to 1st grade
Once they show they can handle 1st grade Gus can work his magic and move on Tamou and Browne
