From the interview he gave after Round 1, it appeared that he had put himself under some enormous pressure to perform. So much so that he under-performed. (Some of you merkins probably understand how this feels). He arrived here into a new team, missed the first 2 months of pre-season because of RWC commitments and injury, was labelled by many as the one to get us to the next level and simply put too much pressure on himself.I'm personally hoping he's following the Gunco wobbly 2 game start
Round 2, no one performed well so I am not looking at Evans for any specific blame (1 in 17 players).
I am happy to give him some time to settle into the new team, new spine, new expectations and reckon he will be good as gold sooner rather than later (by good as gold, I mean he will be performing to BA's expectations of him).
