Your Team To Play Canberra

Chase performed well and barring injury, he will only improve game by game. So in my opinion the right centre problem is solved for now.

I still think Flo is the best solution when it comes to the right wing position. Sure he is a team player and will do the best he can in what ever position he occupies on the field however, I see him as a right winger first, a fullback second and where ever you want after that.

In my opinion Vidot has improved out of sight but still no where near as good as Flo.

It was good to see Goodwin get a run this week even though it was also out of position.

There was a big improvement in defence last night, back to the old brick wall defence; it was great. I am still not sold on the formation of the attacking play, it looked a bit unstructured and unplanned in my opinion.

So next week Cooper will be back and so there will need to be a backline change. For me, I would like to see Goodwin at fullback and both Morris and Flo return to their wing positions.

Chase Stanley and Cooper are the club's best centres and Morris and Nightingale are the clubs best wingers. As for fullbacks, Goodwin is the most experienced fullback in the club followed by Lett, Kemp and Cummins. In my opinion an injury free Goodwin can do the job at fullback and Cummins with time could be right up there with the best fullbacks in the competition.

1. Goodwin
2. Morris
3. Stanley
4. Cooper
5. Nightingale
6. Soward
7. Hornby
8. Hunt
9. Rein
10. Latimore
11. De Belin
12. Scott - if not selected in SOO
13. Marketo

14. Prior
15. Stockwell
16. Young
17. Fien

Assuming Merrin and Creagh will again be picked for SOO

Would like to see your lineup given a go. Was great to see Goodwin get a run in first grade again and thought he was pretty solid. He deserves a chance to play in his proper position, which would put Morris and Flo back in their proper positions. Wouldn't mind mind seeing Vidot on the bench, possibly ahead of Young, - he could do a couple of spells in the second row and cover for the backs. We desperately need to get our backline working in attack. Beating the Titans was a relief but, apart from the brave defence, it wasn't much of an advancement.

Would like to congratulate my youngest Nephew Ethan who did a victory lap up there in Townsville after he and his under 11's team Innisfail won the Laurie Spina cup grand final . I'll buy you a real great footy teams Jersey for Christmas . Remember white jerseys are cooler is hot climates. Oh !!! And you can get your parents to buy me a Blonde backpacker in return..

And Canberra ....Wgas

So you would say Vidot is a better right winger than Flo?

Kyle is injured and probably will come back through the Cutters in the halves.

do you actually watch the games, vidot in the first couple of mins, took 4 hit ups, i thought he might get dropped a couple of games ago, but now he is getting his confidence up.

Bitter sweet feeling.. Happy for Bmoz and beau, but geesus... Playing Canberra in Canberra without Morris, merrin, Scott and creagh...this is very bad luck. This game for saints is now the most crucial game of the year. And it just got much harder. Though raiders without Dugan, Thompson, shillington.

I think if Stewart is out, Scott will be in. Both right side second rowers.

I missed the press conference naming the team, though either 10 or 7 mentioned in their Sports bulletin that Beau was cover for Glen Stewart and that Tony Williams potentially may take Ben Creaghs spot because Ricky may be looking for more impact,so depending on fitness with Stewart we may have Beau and Ben to face Canberra, though being the decider Ricky may keep both in the squad with them not being available to play Monday week.

It basically applies for the next month really.

There are a couple of teams in the coming weeks in that top 8 and 4 who play each other, i.e sharks play broncos next week and then tigers play dogs the week after.

However we have a tough fortnight after the bye.

Sharks and souffs.

*Sigh*

Yeh I know, just trying to stay positive is all.

It's just so frustrating that we can still turn this season into a real positive, like I said previously we are not that far nehind the pack.

We just need one game where we blitz it, rack a 30+ score line, I think it would the world of difference for the boys.

Let's see what happens this week.
