Your thoughts on Friday/Sat Night finals this year

What are your thoughts of the changed finals dates for the Semi and Preliminary Finals this year (with Weeks2+3 being on Friday and Saturday Night)? Wasn't this tried in 2006 and flopped?

yep, i remember back in 2006 no one was a fan of it and when the dogs played brisbane at the sfs in the prelim final it was on a Friday night which was terrible for fans but we all know that the nrl is ch 9's bi*ch
