I really hope Zac can get his head right. Watching one of our own destroy his career in this fashion is really sad to see, even if it is self inflicted.
Maybe this Western Force stint will teach him some hard lessons and maybe he'll learn from them, but I doubt it.

I don't think Zac is capable of seeing anything from anyone else's point of view. It's all about him. Even his latest dig at Rugby League as he leaves for the Western Force indicates a total lack of appreciation for what league did for him. He was just peeved that the code didn't bend over backwards to help him get out of his self created problem. I recall reading an article a couple of years ago which reported that Flo Nightingale spoke to Zac about playing on the wing because it was best for the team. Flo said that Zac's eyes glazed over and he wasn't interested in hearing anything that didn't support his view of the world (I'm paraphrasing the article). Unfortunately, Zac seems to be his own worst enemy. Maybe he will do well in Union, but he won't be missed in League.

Flanno has said something fairly similar - that you just can't talk to Zac if he thinks he is right. I remember listening to that Nightingale interview - a club legend who was willing to be a team player in 2009 and play anywhere Bennett asked him to while an ageing Wendell took his wing spot - and he sounded really disappointed in Zac's attitude.

Remember that crazy game in Melbourne when Flo played in the 2nd row. He would literally do anything for the club.
What a legend.

It's ok for Parra to get Zac to break his contract. There is no care factor and a lack of respect to the Saints shown by Parra, but god forbid a player of theirs breaks a contract. Also they are currently not really honoring Matterson's contract as they are litterely trying to force him to leave so they can spend his dollars and are ready to let him go to anyone. I don't know why Parra are the angles here. The whole situation is a joke and the guys to blame are his management.

Anyway good luck to Zac and after his parting shot at the NRL I hope he stays in Union where he belongs. Great talent wasted to the NRL and hopefully no NRL players look to sign up with his management because they look to be the worst of it all and showed that they are not good at helping players, just trying to get their commission and not looking after the player's character.

Glad that saga is over and all can move on.
I think we’ve learned that the saga is never really over with Lomax.

Wherever he goes there seems to be some of kind of problem or issue following on close behind.

I think it’s still in the public interest we find out about what’s in the Melbourne files and what tricks they were up to.

A lot of clubs would be interested to peer into their evil world of recruitment.

How do they manage to find and secure top tier players for 25 years running while most of the rest of us are singing sea shanty’s to cacti ?

They only settled under the threat of subpoena of records and with the prospect of key officials being cross examined.

And it seemed like a poor kind of settlement from the Melbourne perspective. A good solid reaming.

Zac moves on to another problem. He will find a way.

"You don't always get what you want". Right now Parramatta have nothing, no Lomax and no replacement. Anderson should jump in and do a deal. Flanno should swallow his pride and do what is best for the team.

Let’s forget about Zac and talk about that video..
Absolute GOLD GOLD GOLD.

Look at the baby faced Mick and Brian.
Was that circa 1970?
Or is it a prank.
Maybe it’s just some modern day tribute band?
I hope not.

But I must correct you on something possum.

I think the line should be:
You can’t alway GIT what you want.
GIT it?
🤣
