I am all for the NRL to get involved but Lonax is a winger.. are they going to do this for every player now![]()
Paul Kent would have asked tougher questions. It was a sickening watch.
Concerningly, there was still a smugness, like there is more to come from their end that won't be good for Parra.
Yeah thats a pissweak argumentAnd the f**ken use of “there are players who had done worse that are still playing” as an attack on us is ridiculous. That says more about the league allowing those other players to continue to play then us holding a player to contract

I can see how the NRL is theoretically better off with the best players in the game. I’m less likely to watch non-Parra games during Origin, for example, when other teams’ stars aren’t playing. But when a rival team loses a star player to a rival code or whatever, it makes me happy because then we don’t have to play against that merkin any more. Even if I logically know it means the value of every player just went up a bit, increasing our chances of losing one of our own to a rival.I think people such as PVL and Brent Read have completely overestimated how much ‘the fans’ want to see Lomax back in the game.
Most fans couldn’t give a shit. All I’m hearing is that that don’t want him back and he’s welcome to run off to the sport he was originally ditching League for in the first place.
Zac Lomax didn’t care about Rugby League. Why should Rugby League care about him.
Me listening to Read, Parker, et al and Gordon Tallis sounds like the smart one:The whole argument about Lomax being mounted neglects THE FACT that he was leaving the NRL anyway to play Union for R360.
Why is rugby league, as a code, obliged to take him back because it fell over when just about everybody, INCLUDING PETER V'LANDYS HIMSELF, warned that very thing could happen?
I mean tell me where, if you leave a prior job for a new one, the new employer folds up shop before you start, you are entitled to ignore any contractual obligations you entered into with the old employer to go and work directly for one of its rivals whilst the "industry regulator" says its okay?![]()
Gordie is a bit of a simple merkinMe listening to Read, Parker, et al and Gordon Tallis sounds like the smart one:

The Australian coach reckons PVL is going to get involved.
Lol at Kevvie
Its all Parramattas fault our demands were too high.
The eye testSource for the "proof" ?
Shouldn’t kevvie be upset with him , he pulled out of the Roos tour. Don’t know if he was legit injured or not but I remember at the time speculation was there was to be medical done in December in r360
Jamie Lyon was on radio today
He expressed regret how he walked out on Parra.
He cant change the past but admitted in hindsight he wished he did things differently.
And stayed at least to the end of the year.
He said he was young, naive and at the time he never planned to play professional footy again when he made the decision to leave 1 week into the year
And i always say he at least paid his dues and didnt come back until his Parra contract when he finished.
Whats Lomax actually paid back
The eye test
“He hasn’t killed anybody” is a pretty low bar to set when judging someone. And the f**ken use of “there are players who had done worse that are still playing” as an attack on us is ridiculous. That says more about the league allowing those other players to continue to play then us holding a player to contract
Despite doing it in stupid way, I don’t blame him for trying to come back to NRL. I don’t blame Scum for trying either even if they were trying to get him for a steal. I don’t blame NRL for trying to protect their image. I don’t blame Matterson for trying to cash in on being used as a pawn. But the club is absolutely not at fault for any of it.Whats Lomax actually paid back
