Agree, on the surface it seems a poor way to handle things. They should have the cash to pay him what he deserves.

He was upgraded last year and clearly his manager did a poor job. The right way to go about it is to approach the club not the media. The club will upgrade him to a sensible market rate. If he isn't happy with that he can move on. I think they will work something out.
