Griffin sacked 4 weeks out from the finals, wow
Fmd back to back finals campaigns and equal fourth after 2 wins in a row.
Sacked.
By that reckoning Kearney would have been sacked in round 5 last year...
He doesn't dwell on his mistakes.Jeez Maloney is good to watch. Never gives up.
You must be very subservient and do as you are told to survive. No one can coach under Gus. Not for any length of time anyway
For the rest of this season however, I don't think he will be giving Ciraldo full control, I imagine Gus will be running things for the next 8 weeks, and that thought almost makes me want to throw some money on them
Why would Ivan go back to a club that punted him to work under a guy who publicly threw him under the bus after one bad year?
If the Clearys are at the same club it'll be Wests.
As you guys mentioned, Ivan might be a candidate. How could he possibly feel secure in that role again?
Gus, the ogre, is everywhere. On bad days, while out on the field with training or worse, during games, even clouds could form in the shape of him.
Yep, might take a while to re-establish trust - but at the end of the day only Bellamy is secure long-term (even Bennett seems to be expendable) - and will be interesting to see how secure Bellamy is when/if Slater and Smith retire
Thing with Griffin is, winning usually ensures security - things must be fairly toxic
Yeah, someone mentioned here a year or so ago that there seems to be 'something rotten at Penrith'. But you can't have the 'kids' deciding who the 'teacher' is!
The Warriors know all about that and we know where that got us.
Sulking brats around the joint, can you imagine it? Poor Griff.
One story suggested Moylan wouldn't work with Griffen - at that point Gould arranged the swap with Cronulla - but things still stink, so I guess Griffen had to go - just the timing is breathtaking
