man storm played better without their main 3 last week. they have been f**kin crap tonight!

i liked the young bloke they had last week in the 6? he should be playing not finch!

farah is a top player, he is their hooker & half in one player.

man waqa is shit! always does some dumb shit! j oneil has been real average since returning as well.

where is fanua? he was great for them & duffy was good too.

storm have got nothing in attack & slater is having a shocker tonight.

tigers wingers have been great last few weeks, they always find some good strong wingers.

Lol what? Waqa's solid and fonua was dog sh*t

Even Smith couldn't have helped them. Awesome win.
Benji has the cleanest jersey considering the conditions.

Good job tigers. So many facepalms tonight from us. Finch not even trying to tackle during the tigers second try disappointed me the most.

Second week in a row WT have rolled the sleeves up to get the job done.

The aggression in defence first up reall seemed to throw the Storm out of whack.

Loving the defensive efforts of late. Very excited about our future under Potter, what a refreshing change from Sheens.

Smith should be on twice as much as Slater. Slater now is half the player he was up until last year.

Cam Smith is the real matchwinner in this squad. So much of what Cronk and Slater do is only because of the platform he sets.

Have the Tigers got some of their cattle back in recent weeks, or have the blokes who've stepped in got used to the gig and stepped up?

A few have come back - Lawrence and Farah/Woods post origin 2, but plenty are still on the sidelines:

Braith Anasta (shoulder), Rd 17
Matt Utai (knee), Rd 17
Keith Galloway (pec), indefinite
Marika Koroibete (elbow) Rd 19
Eddy Pettybourne (ankle), indefinite
Masada Iosefa (arm), indefinite
Lote Tuqiri (arm), indefinite
James Gavet (foot), indefinite
Matt Bell (hand), indefinite
Tim Moltzen (knee), season

Truth be told, the players who have gotten a shot in the meantime have stepped up in a big way - they've done very well. The Storm missed Smith a great deal but the enthusiasm and effort from Wests Tigers has been very good to see. A bit more size in the pack and Adam Blair playing a much better role at prop IMO have helped as well. Round 19 for Koroibete would be quite a surprise as well. Simona and Nofoaluma have done extremely well. Fulton has been immense yet largely unnoticed as always

Potter also deserves another 2 years to be judged fairly after inheriting the Sheensmozzle.

EDIT: The reserves being a single team now and training with the top squad will also help create a bit more continuity as well when players move up.
