Dragons and Cowboys game was a thriller.

Lucky enough to have been able to watch a live stream of it on the web.

Not a bad game at all for a trial match.
Cowboys scored in the last 2 minutes to snatch it 28-22.
Doesn't look good for Cows in 2013....

I think BM would be the only person dumb enough in existence to talk up their team before a trial match

True, that side doesnt look that imposing. If Reynolds get second year blues, I reckon they could be in massive trouble. For mine they will rely very heavily on the Burgess bros providing forward dominance becuase there doesnt seem to be much creative influence.

About to leave shortly for the game. We're close to a full strength team. We're a top 4 premiership contender. I see the Knights coming 7th-8th. Hard to imagine them troubling us today.

When Bunniesman posted this, how did I know what was going to happen next?

Also you mentioned "a tightly fought contest between 2 teams who will feature in September", something like that, the problem is you predicted the knights to finish in 7-8th, that's not exactly "featuring", is it now.

The fact that they defeated your team in a trial leads you to believe they'll be featuring, I solely believe that Souths are just shit.

How good are the trials are up and going. Almost time for the season.

Rickys magic working 40+ point flogging. Basically full strength! Only bloke who went any good was Moi Moi.

No suprise Sharkies & Roosters going well. Titans and Bronocos in a tight one. Poor Copley's done his knee. Looks like Kemp will get some game time. Sounds like Dragons did alright against a very good Cowboys. Might of misjudged the Dragons, if they can go alright against Cowboys they might be alright. Tigers might be a better then expected especially if Benji sorted his crap. Though it was against spooners.

Meanwhile in Campbelltown, the Eels looked every bit as disjointed as at their lowest ebb in 2012 and must be wondering how much off-contract star Jarryd Hayne, who was rested, will be able to fix when he returns.

Parramatta, in their first near full-strength hitout under Stuart, were missing just Hayne and back-rowers Ben Smith (knee) and Reni Maitua (suspension), but were completely outclassed by the crisp Tigers.

Eels coach Ricky Stuart admitted there would be tough times ahead for the Eels but refused to unload on his team, saying he would continue to show patience in the new group.

So thorough was the mauling, Marshall and Tigers captain Robbie Farah were given early showers after giving Parramatta a bath, with new coach Mick Potter dragging them from the field with half an hour to go.
