We should win it - kiwis team is weaker than previous years, especially in the halves.

Still, they've pulled our pants down in a final before, and we only beat them by 6 or 8 last game. Johnson has to be on song.

Let's hope GI continues his amazing form - must be finally injury free!

Foran, Whare and Tuivasa-Sheck. Those guys absence make a massive difference. Biggest call is still on Kidwell. So far hasn't shown that he has the tactical nous to give the players a game plan which can rattle Australia.

Be interesting to see whether he has the balls to give Fusitua a run in place of Nightingale who is horribly out of form.

And Mannering - someone who has no nonsense defense around the edges.

Yeah 1:30am on a Monday morning AEDT doesn’t do much for ratings, especially when the finalists are both in the Southern Hemisphere. There’s been games that kicked off at 7am on a Sunday morning, not sure why they didn’t go for that.

My best guess is with the size of the pitch at Anfield (91m between goallines to allow for adequate in-goals), they didn't want to risk a night time game on a dewy surface.

It sucks for TV that it's the two southern hemisphere teams but that's always a chance.

Liverpool is going to have a high of 6 degrees - the crowd will be glad it's during the day and not a night game.
