Tigers looked like utter superstars in Round 1 last year. We all know how that turned out. Try keep it in your pants boys.

I think most of the excitement is the fact we beat our bogey team for the first time in 7 years. Our attack was diabolical but for once in our teams short history we won a game on gritty defense. A rarity

Very true. Next week will be a proper gauge of where you're at though.

Not really, think today showed plenty. We’re going to be a gritty team that will struggle to score points whilst combinations are getting sorted. Sadly we don’t have individuals who can create something out of nothing so will rely on a bit of luck and opposition mistakes to score a lot of points.

Not getting ahead of ourselves and have no doubt come the end of the year Roosters finish ahead of us on the table. However after watching the roosters run riot over a softock pack lead by Captain Marshmellow for 7 years it’s nice to see a team with some punch to it.

If the Roosters struggle against the Dogs next weekend we are f**ked

Knights and Warriors also in the first four rounds.

Could we be Owen Fooooor?

You know what you’ve done to the Tigers the last few years, yeah, the common denominator is at the Dogs now. I’d even bring back Marty Kennedy for his yearly two tries

You guys will be fine. Until you play us again lol...
Seriously though you have a rep side, you will make the prelims as a minimum.

9 penalties conceded by the Roosters and 12 errors made
If you give the ball away 21 times in a single game you deserve to be thumped.

Is there another side as dumb as us?

The penalty conceded on the wing after winger kicked was the epitome of thick. Tedesco had it covered up. There was no reason to put a shot on after he kicked.

Result, 6 more tackles and a try conceded.

Mensa can put their f**king feet up. They will get no new members from ESDRLFC

I'm in two minds...

One the one hand it's only round 1; but on the other we were absolutely awful.

The coaching and game plan in attack has me worried.

We have so many weapons but didn't even try to use them.

Very concerning.

New year, new players, same shit.

Lol @ anyone who thought Pearce was the problem here. Can count on one hand the amount of times Latrell received the ball.

Maybe next week Cronk and Tedesco will actually have a dig.

And right there is why Latrell will never be a great centre. All the great centres of the past wanted the ball. If it wasn't getting to them, they went looking for it.
Mitchell waits for it to come to him.

Inglis does the same at club level.

But in Origin they get him the ball in space.

So tbh I think it's more to do with the coaching.
