Update - I've not been called yet.

I think my email (which included my concerns) might have been enough. Since then, the Broncos have released level 7 north vs the Titans at the same time that they opened one bay in level 7 east. Good news. Means that people will not think that the game is sold out, or be pressured to purchase expensive sideline seats.

Hopefully they call this week, but I doubt it.
Hopefully you get the call soon from them, although at least they are already taking on some of your feedback and implemented it.

Whilst we wait for the Broncos to get back to you, can we get the Dolphins to speak to you regarding their ticketing strategy at Suncorp?

Roosters are running Monday Madness again for Sunday's game against the Warriors

Roosters have lucked out with the timeslot, 2pm Mother's day has to be one of the harder sells.

That’s a shame as this game would normally attract a decent following from kiwis living in Sydney alongside a terrific win for the roosters in the last round.

Seriously? That’s really good.
I thought if we get near last year it’s promising because it was such a big jump last year. To be exceeding at this point is really promising.
Yep

The Sharks being at the top of the ladder appears to be having a positive effect on this weekend's match in Melbourne. Game is tracking similar to Panthers & Broncos matches earlier in the year, which both got over 20K.

Diamond Bays (Sections 3 - 9 & 24 - 30) are either sold out or down to singles, Bronze behind the posts (Sections 16 - 18 & 37 - 39) are also in a similar spot and there are decent sales in the gold bays on both sides.

It's time for the Dolphins to offer 2-for-1 tickets or something to Thursday night's game.
Something other than just a random social post saying 'BTW we're playing this week' would be nice. The Dolphins have lucked out a bit this year with their Suncorp matches. Cowboys, Wests Tigers, Knights & Sea Eagles as their opening 4 is a harder sell than Roosters, Broncos, Rabbitohs & Storm, but regardless they don't seem to know how to make an event around a game.

It's 4 v 5, and they're playing a team with the Queensland captain in it, surely there is some story to tell?

I agree. They just need to ask channel 9 and 7 to say after the Dolphins piece that the club is offering 2-for-1 tickets to this Thursday night's game and the word would spread and all of a sudden they've shifted 5k.

Posts on facebook and instagram just don't go viral unless they are reels.

Maybe they could offer a free glass of champagne to all mothers - free piss at a RL game, what could possibly go wrong?

You`re dead right, it`s essential to build a story around these sort of games which are in inconvenient time slots.
Just from today`s NRL/Dolphins press releases: https://www.dolphinsnrl.com.au/news/2024/05/07/dolphins-crack-new-membership-record/

Even using this as some sort of celebratory precedent for attending this game.
Within the article it mentions in passing this is "4 vs. 5" and "The Dolphins will aim to stay in the top four of the competition with a victory over the Sea Eagles at Suncorp Stadium on Thursday night. ",
Rather than being non-descriptively tacked on at the end of that release this is the sort of statement that should be opening the article and rallying the fans and general punters around.

Should let a female in for free with every child. Mothers day is always a hard sell.

Might not make any real difference this year with the shit weather.

Hope there’s some reprieve with the weather on Friday. Even with the 6pm time slot we’re shitting in a sellout. Probably as early as tomorrow.

Opening game of the 2024 Women's Origin series is seeing some positive sales.

Category A bays in the lower bowl are either sold out or down to single seats whilst GA sections behind the posts are also sold out.

Category B tickets on Level 5 are down to single seats.

Unless there has been a lot of tickets held back, its well on track to see a new Women's Origin crowd record, especially once the Magic Round hype starts kicking in and people realise they can't buy a ticket to anything else.

At least they are trying something (although doing it late like this is not good as it discourages fans to pre-purchase). Where did you see the deal?

Not seeing on their main socials or website.
Very strange marketing from the Phins. Agree that it's far too late - those that took advantage of the last offer would have just waited for this. They should have offered it Monday, or even better - announce it on the big screen at the Newcastle game.

They would have known how poorly sales were tracking for this game (and not expected big sales given it is a Thursday).
