my only wish is there are NO injuries to any Souths players from this game and JT uses the game to help focus some of his selection decisions for the next game against the Roosters. I would rather a close game , either way , versus a blowout like the Sharks game , where souths may have learnt false lessons against a team that did not turn up.

Based on what I saw sat night (to be fair I didnt see the Dragons game) Souths will be hard to beat here.

Souths by 13 +

50/50 game, but I think Saints will get up. It will be a cracker either way.

I'll drop by Bunnings to get some rope if Gasnier goes down.

As with every year the winner will be the team that takes it the most seriously. If Souths take it as serious as JT has said, they should win comfortably (gees it's been a long time since I could say that with confidence).

As long as no one gets injured, that's the main thing.

Surprisingly strong side in the circumstances (not quite the first team) but should nonetheless nail the Saints by half-time.

As long as no-one gets injured, thats the main thing.

Hedging your bets there Dave, a big difference in the tone of the two lines.

Rabbits "should" win comfortably? It's a 50/50 game, Saints have a decisive edge in the backline though

They've got nothing.

Bailey was their biggest loss, not Barrett.

Only two class forwards in Young & Creagh, who will both play for NSW/Australia, a Test prop in Ryles and promising youngsters like Poore & Thorby

Hardly "nothing" mate

I agree, for me Barrett was a bigger loss, players of his quality are hard to replace

While Bailey was very good, the production line of young forwards that continue to flow out of the Dragons is amazing
