For those that are not aware, and especially for those who are not tech savvy, you can listen to Roy & H.G. calling the Grand Final in a number of ways. All are not rock solid guaranteed that the sync will be spot on,as was the case when the call of the AFL on yesterday was app 20 seconds before it came on the screen.
But to no avail as this happened in the AFL last year as it did yesterday, but the difference was that Channel 7 was responsible for this as every goal was followed by a commercial break so I guess they had their reasoning.
But last year, our great friends at Channel Nine did the noble thing for the Roy & H.G.fans (especially James Packer) by allowing the sync to be spot-on.
So,in saying that, there are the usual ways to listen to your DIGITAL broadcast:
With a transistor radio.(unlikely a sync,but still give it a try)

on the net.(unlikely a sync, but still give it a try)

Mobile phone (highly unlikely, but give it a whirl if you're on the move)
On FOXTEL's Foxtunes:This is the likely format in which you will get the perfect sync as it did for me last year.O.K. go into your Foxtunes radio (top left hand button on remote). Scroll to ABC NEWS Radio then press the O.K. button. You will have to have independent speakers apart from your TV's sound.
Turn Channel Nine down,ABC NEWS Radio's volume up,and hopefully, were in business.
So remember league fans,NRL Grand Final live from 6.30pm AEST on ABC NEWS Radio.
