ANZAC Test

Sounds like we're now without Foran also.

Poor bastard, family breakdown by reports, she was one of the main reason for turning down Warriors apparently. Just had a second kid resently as well.:(

Hope if he is OK, he can pop into camp.

Depth getting tested.

He is eligible but not interested.

It could well be Harris at 6. Or tommy. Or I suppose Nikorima with some green hooker taking his bench spot. We're done

Kahu, Nikorama, Rapana, Hiku, Perret, SKD...a few options across the halves, centre, fullback & wingers in that lot? Harris if it comes to that but he's killing it on the edge atm too.

Our forwards have the edge I reckon and if they lay a good platform our backs should go ok...we have some great finishers (SKD, Kahu, Rapana). Nikorama is probably needed in the 9 if Luke isn't up to scratch

No. Nikorima is the only option in that lot for half.

Depending on availability ie. injuries etc...

Fullback: DWZ or Kahu
Wing: Rona / Nightingale
Centre: SKD / Hoffman or Kahu
5/8: Lolohea (will he be ready in time?)
Half: Johnson
Hooker: Nikorima
Front Row: Bromwich / Blair
Second Row: Taupau / Proctor
Lock: T. Harris

Reserves (from): Lewis Brown, Manu Ma'u, Jason Taumalolo, Kenny Edwards, Greg Eastwood, Agnatius Paasi, Zeb Taia

I wouldn't pick any of the Warriors who are being stood down this weekend. They've just shown everyone how much they care at club level so why put them in the national side. And I wouldn't pick Luke because his form simply does not warrant it.

If Lolohea isn't available then maybe Hoffman or Lewis Brown in the 6? I know it's been mentioned but I don't really want Tohu there. He would be wasted. If Tohu did go to 6 then Taumalolo to lock

And no I don't think Leuluai would be an option, nor Benji.

I know Takairangi played for Cook Islands but he's still eligible for NZ? I didn't pick him for that reason. But he really has improved big time this year. And played great tonight too. If available he could be a good option at 6

Saw this on the other forum. Not sure if it's true. Is Junior Paulo actually eligible for NSW?

Thought this was really interesting. Junior Paulo is eligible for the Kiwis but played for NSW at under 20 level so I always assumed his preference was to play for NSW, but looking at the State of Origin eligibility rules he isn't actually eligible for NSW, unless i'm reading the rules wrong.

So according to eligibility rules if you were not born in NSW or Queensland you must have resided in either state prior to your 13th birthday. Source below stating this..
https://www.nrl.com/portals/nrl/Rad...AboutUs/StateofOriginEligibilityExplained.pdf

In the article below Junior Paulo states that he moved to Australia in 2007.

Which would put him at either 13 or 14, according to his wikipeida page he was born on 20 November 1993.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junior_Paulo_(rugby_league_born_1993)

Now the eligiblilty rules came into place in December 2012 and he played u20s SOO in 2013. So based on the eligibility rules he inst eligible for SOO as he did not move to NSW before the age of 13. Anyway thought it was interesting and wonder if he could be in contention for Kiwis selection this year.
