Heres a few records he might break today:

Highest score by an Australian in test cricket: (334, prev held by DG Bradman vs England, Leeds, 1930 and MA Taylor v Pakistan, Persawar, 1998/99) needs 64 to break the record
Most sixes in an innings: (12, prev held by Nathan Astle (NZ) vs England, Christchurch, 2001/02) needs 5 to break the record
Highest score by an individual batsman in test cricket: (375, prev held by BC Lara vs England at Bridgetown, 1993/94) needs 105 to break record

C'mon Matty keep em coming. :)

I don't want to jinx him so I'll keep shut.

How many runs do you think Steve Waugh will let it continue till?

If it goes to 700 there is a good chance for MH. Anything less than he will fall short. 700, lol, Go Australia.

There it is ladies and gentlemen, Hayden becomes the fifth Australian to score 300 runs in a test match, just needs 8 more to break Bob Cowpers record (307) highest score by an Australian on Australian soil.

Australia 609/5 (128.2 ov)
ML Hayden 314
AC Gilchrist 55

Hayden has now passed Bob Cowpers record of highest test score in Australia and passed Bob Simpsons score of 311. Hayden is third on the all-time list of highest test scores by Australians, behind Bradman and Mark Taylor (both 334)

Hayden wont be stopped. We're about to see an Oz record set here.

The commentators are trying to compare it to Bradman re the number of balls faced - but the triple centuries dont compare. Taking nothing away from Hayden who is champion but Bradman got his 334 against the sterner opposition. Aust and England were the two best cricket teams in the world.

I reckon once he gets past 334, Waugh will declare.

Hayden 326

Aust 5/650
