Bucket Lists

As a perpetual traveler/avoider of the real world, I've got quite a lengthy bucket list. I've got a fair few friends with lists of their own, so thought it'd be interesting to see what the world of FFB had to say on the matter.

I'm not going to post my entire list here (it currently stands at 302 items and can be found here but have a few that I'm hoping to check off in the very near future.

- Visit Angkor Wat
- Attend a decadent beach party
- Visit the Killing Fields
- Visit Halong Bay

A lot of mine are travel ones, but I have a few experience ones too. The usual sex stuff, sappy raise a family stuff, and more manly ones like kill and prepare something to eat; camp in the Arctic; be bitten by a wild animal and survive etc etc.

What are yours?

I don't have one, but I've done some of yours so that'll do for me.

I have done your 4 mentioned above.

The most recent one that I have added to mine is attend the 1st day of the Boxing Day test against the poms. Might try and get tickets this year but I might have to wait until next time.

I dont have one, though I had a look at yours & living in China for as long as you have I am surprised you havent ticked off a few of the sex ones. Not a bad list & I reckon you could look back at your life one day pretty satisfied if you ticked half of them off.

Done a few of your manly ones & I can assure you being bitten by a wild animal & surviving is very overrated:lol:

A pretty cool way of listing your bucket list - I have never wrote one up and I doubt I would [although, I thought about it after watching Bucket List it crossed my mind].

But having a look at yours on your website
, I have done about 10% of your bucket list which even surprised me.
1 ? Kiss passionately in the pouring rain
4 ? Give a speech at a good friend?s wedding
12 ? Have a beer with one of my heroes
21 ? Volunteer and really make a difference
28 ? Serenade somebody [very badly, I must admit]
33 ? Go crazy at a decadent beach party or boat party
48? See a ping pong show in Thailand
58 ? Ride in a hot air balloon
63 ? Go skinny dipping
65 ? Be in a movie or on TV
82 ? Go white water rafting
117 ? Score the winning point(s) in a game
119 ? Win money gambling in a casino
121 ? Brew my own beer
127 ? Spend a weekend on a country estate
130 ? Have a child
133 ? See a chart topping band in concert
135 ? Sleep with somebody way out of my league [I do every night]
144 ? Have a bar or cafe that my friends and I are regulars at
169 ? Get a lap dance in a strip club
173 ? Paint somebody?s portrait [Drawing count?]
177 ? Organize and execute a romantic picnic
202 ? Get my driver?s license
228 ? Fire a gun
230 ? Couchsurf
249 ? Make use of the ?top sheet? in a hostel
260 ? See one of my teams win a grand final
277 ? Attend one of the ?big? football matches [AFL Western derby count?]
291 ? Ride a tandem bike
295 ? Give a speech as the best man

Maybe, I should make a bucket list...and not just copy Misanthrope's.

Gah! You were in Maryland and I missed it!

My girlfriend's a Maryland girl, so I get to be 'in Maryland' fairly often >_> Whereabouts in MD are you?

I dont have one, though I had a look at yours & living in China for as long as you have I am surprised you havent ticked off a few of the sex ones. Not a bad list & I reckon you could look back at your life one day pretty satisfied if you ticked half of them off.

I've been partnered up for most of my time here, so it's limited my opportunities with the natives

Bawlmer.

You will find me here

Wahey! I haven't been there, but my girlfriend has in the past. We didn't spend any time in Bawlmore, although that's where she is from originally. Spent two lovely weeks based out of Annapolis though.

Hit up Ocean City and Assateague too. Lovely state. Would definitely consider living there, although Oregon remains my favourite part of the US.

P.S. I wish other people would post their lists. I feel like you're all checking off heaps of mine, but that makes sense given it's a list of things I haven't done. I reckon I've done a few from other people's.

I've never made one but I'm thinking I should soon. I doubt I could think of as as many as you have though, lol.

It's my night job. If you Google 'funny bucket list ideas' or 'crazy bucket list ideas', I should be near the top. The more hits I get, the more money I can make from my site.

You get paid per view or are viewers expected to do something. I look at your site and have no idea how you are making money from it. Unless it involves clicking ads.

Never clicks. I'd be surprised if anybody makes money through clicks.

Advertisers approach me to improve their ranking in Google. The more sites linking to their product, the higher up the Google ladder they appear. The top three is the holy grail. The higher up Google I appear, the more I can charge.

I charge per link. It's not reliable income, but it's made me about as much this year as my day job has.
