I feel like im being too complimentary of the club today, but realising he was a completely useless halfback and turning him into a hooker/middle forward that plays to his strengths was smart.

Crossland reminds me of Waltzing .All effort. Matty Hilder remains my favourite player ever. Never let us down.

Love the intent he plays with, classic Gidley archetype. The kind who makes you wish players a lot more talented put in the same effort.

He is dead set a leader of the forwards. Always inspiring with his rushing off the line and putting his body on the line. I don’t want to understate what that must do for his teammates.

His attack is pretty painful to watch but his defense is top notch and a half.

Also didn't give away cheap penalties yesterday. Crossland of old would have released all the pressure and piggybacked the Titans out of their own 20m a couple of times after getting pinged for offside or a careless high shot.

Crossland really feels like an integral part of our team tbh. His role as a 14 is so important for changing momentum in the game and the difference he makes to our line speed and overall energy in D and A is really noticeable.

He is almost the perfect 14. Want someone off the bench who can defend in any position basically and that's Crossland. Always fit as well.

He's behind Marshall-King and Smith for hooker/utilities I'd imagine. Not that Smith has exactly been banging the door down in recent times.
