We can't leave them much later than that at all, as we need to get the finals match threads up and running on time.

Agreed. I will miss this round for the obvious reasons, not sure about the one after (return on Sep 7, if FT is the 9th I will take it). But I'll be here full time for whenever you need.

The final round of the minor premiership is over and the matches have been marked. There has been a shuffle between 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions on the ladder. As a result, the Panthers are in the top four at the expense of the Bluebags, and Souths have leap-frogged the Ninjas into second position. St George are six points clear at the top and are the 2012 Minor Premiers. :thumn

Semi Finals: 30 Aug – 09 Sep
The 2012 F7s semis kick off tomorrow. It'll be 1st vs 2nd to play the Major Semi-Final, with the winner going through to the Grand Final. In the other game it is 3rd vs 4th to play in the sudden death Minor Semi-Final.

Game A: Dragons (1st) vs Rabbitohs (2nd)
Game B: Ninjas (3rd) vs Panthers (4th)

How important are those 5 articles per game looking now? One win all year and you find yourselves in a grand final qualifier. The F7s is definitely not about how many games you win, it's more about how many articles you get in. The bonus for 5 posts is a fantastic rule and you guys are a perfect example of that this year.

Definitely agree with you on that one. Those bonus points add up like crazy. Not only are they the difference between making the finals or not, but what position you finish in the top 4. Finishing 2nd is a massive difference to finishing 3rd or 4th.
