Forwards Stats

So our weak points is our Forwards, Props in particular, I put together stats from the Warriors website.

Don't seem to be able to successfully put up an excel spread sheet here.
But our top 4 based on BMI (to get an idea of size across different heights)

1st Agnatius Paasi Lock
2nd Patrick Sipley Prop
3rd Chris Satae Prop
4th Ligi Sao Lock

On games played, we have a total of 6 with over 50 games, 4 of those over 100 games.

Not sure what club is as low as us on size and experience?

How is BMI calculated (do you have their height and weight stats available? tho presumably the latter won't be so accurate)? Also, random aside, nrl.com no longer seems to show the tackle count and running metres of individual players. Is that just me or are you all suffering the same lack of stats?

Why is it that fans and the media have identified prop as our weakness this year and yet the club has not addressed this? They signed Paasi and re-signed Lisone. To be honest, those two players won’t set the platform allowing players such as SJ, RTS to work their magic.

It's been a problem for years, the media is just shit and it's easier to write stories blaming SJ.

The Brocess did address it, he got the Kiwi leader lol

In seriousness though it's a hard thing to address , big good forwards are a huge premium and the Warriors struggle enough luring guys who aren't Kiwis wanting a pay day.

Letting promising guys like Sipley escape only makes it worse.

BMI (Body Mass Index) is calculated by weight (kg) divided by height (m) squared.

So Passi is 111kg and 1.82m
111/(1.82*1.82) = 33.51

Its an arbitrary method to judge how healthy your weight is.
It doesn't apply to body builders who have a larger muscle mass, pregnancy, athletes.
So i wasn't using it to say how fit or healthy they where, just to get an idea of their mass per height

Ranges for BMI's
Underweight: BMI is less than 18.5.
Normal weight: BMI is 18.5 to 24.9.
Overweight: BMI is 25 to 29.9.
Obese: BMI is 30 or more.

Regardless of size talent and performance are key. We lost Ben, Jake and Sipley. The former two were established and took criticism and the latter promising, we replaced them with lower quality journeymen
