Ahead of Saturday afternoon's qualifying final clash at GIO Stadium, Brad Fittler believes the Sharks will struggle to defend against the big men of the Raiders.

"There's a lot of 95-100 kilo blokes in the Sharks … through the middle that last week just couldn't hold Melbourne," Fittler told Sportsfan's Will McCloy.

"I just don't know how they can rotate those big blokes enough just to hold Canberra," he added.

"… I don't see how Cronulla can hold them."

"I just feel … they're just a bit worn out, the Sharkies."
