Myles had it coming. After leading with the head on Farah last year and clipping Hayne this year. He definitely had it coming. Fights are one thing, but leading with the head is against the spirit of the game.

QLD are cats, notice whenever there's a fight they always cry and call for excessive bans. They know they get seen to every time and want the NRL to change the rules to protect their tissue-soft players from the warrior-like New South Welshman.

NSWelshmen should probably be more concerned about the fact that their "warrior" Gallen couldn't punch his way out of a wet paper bag. He didn't even leave a mark despite having the chance to throw the first 3 punches

Lol this happens every year in Origin. One team defending the indefensible just because they wear a certain color. Why don't we just throw the whole rulebook out during Origin and have the refs only be there to award or disallow tries.

If the roles were reversed and Myles had put Gallen on his back, the NSW fans would be calling Origin "dead" just like they did in game 3 last year.

The "not a scratch on me" defence. Myles threw nothing back, he got seen to.

We all know if the QLD filth weren't there to intervene that Gallen would have done him with a 10 punch combo. Myles had no idea what hit him

Have you seen Myles' head?

You couldn't put a dent in it with a diamond sledge hammer. He's preparing for life after footy by developing a harness to turn him into one of those balls they use to knock buildings down

Yeah Gallen would have killed him. As I said in the game day thread its good to see a dude lead with a jab.

Yeah, but it was something and nothing, the sort of thing that happens every second tackle in origin, a player going to ground in a tackle being caught by another tackler in the face.

They only bothered to replay it because it initiated the fight, but otherwise it wouldn't be noticed.
Gallen was third man into the tackle and got Myles with a swinging arm. Your right play had continued on so he had gotten away with it. Just a shame there wasn't enough time left in the half for QLD to score and make the grub pay for it on the score board.

Lol. Gallen punches like a little girl and you know it. Myles had no idea what hit him because nothing hit him. Seriously he wasn't even fazed. A 10 punch combo means nothing when each punch has the force of a wet fart.

Some guys don't know fighting form when they see it. Frank Grimes is obviously a fan of the windmill technique that most people employ, the "if I connected he'd have been in a coma" train of thought.

Gallen was just toying with the merkin.

To answer my own question - no Gallen doesn't have a record.

He's fronted the judiciary in the past but been found not guilty on multiple occasions.

Gallen is no hero for his cheap shot on Myles in the tackle. Myles is no hero for his plethora of cheap shots and sneak-goes either. But that's footy.

Myles failed because he though he could stand there and take punches in the hopes of at least getting a meaningful penalty and maybe seeing Gallen sent off.

Well he should have looked at the clock first and he should have also remembered that referees are gutless merkins who say things like "we won't tolerate that stuff" when they mean "we will definitely tolerate that stuff provided you're the first one to do it in a game".

So all in all, Myles got everything he wanted except points on the board and a 12-man opposition.
