...I hope it's a level playing field for both teams - not like in '14 when the NRL turned it into a Southsfest and the Dogs looked like they were merely making up the numbers.

1) Souths vs Roosters ---I think this will be the first time they have played in a grand final.......definitely none after 1950-- legendary tribal hatred
If they don’t it could be like 2013 where the crowd was 30% roosters 30% Manly 10% Nuetral along with the 30% Souffs fans who purchased early thinking they were in.

No chance. We learned our lesson last year.the early purchasers are St Merge fans
Stupid GF ticket sale options - should only sell tickets after both particpating sides are knownIf they don’t it could be like 2013 where the crowd was 30% roosters 30% Manly 10% Nuetral along with the 30% Souffs fans who purchased early thinking they were in.

I don't think you've thought this through. The crowd that attends the gf is also made up of corporate hospitality, as well as people who simply love rugby league.Stupid GF ticket sale options - should only sell tickets after both particpating sides are known

They already hold tickets for the fans of the clubs when the gf teams are decided, at least they did last time my team made the big one.
Still do. 10,000 for each club in fact.
And as you said, you get shitloads of people who attend it because of the event, and it is great to go when you have no side in it.
